Inviting Students

To invite students to the Google Classroom, there are 3 ways to go about that.

1. Invitation Link

2. Invitation Code

3. Email Invitations

Invitation Link

The easiest way for participants to join our Google Classroom is to use the Invitation Link. All they have to do is click on it (or use a browser) and everything is done.

To get the Invitation Link, we will need to go to the class settings. The Invitation Link would be inside the settings.

Invitation Code

Invitation Code is also one of the methods that the participants can join themselves. The Invitation Code is everywhere so be sure to watch out for accidentally showing it on a screenshot or a video. People will be able to join and disrupt the class.

Be careful not to share the code with people outside the class, strangers will be able to get in and disrupt the class.

Email Invitation

This is usually only used when the participant is having some problem joining or is unable to join on their own. Once you have their email address you can go to People tab in the classroom and click the add user button under Students.

Then simply provide the email addresses that the participant provided and hit the Invite button.
