Disabling Invitations
Leaving the Invitation Code and Invitation Link would let anyone who came across it gain access to our Google Classroom. A screenshot or a YouTube video can easily expose the Invitation Code to the internet.
For security, it would be best to disable the Invitation Code and Invitation Link when they are no longer needed. To do that, we will need to go to the class settings and select Turn off under Manage invite codes which will disable both the Invitation Code and Invitation Link.

Reset Invitation Codes
If for some reason, either the Invitation Code or the Invitation Link have been exposed, we can reset it to get a new code and the old code will no longer be valid. To do that, we have to go back to the class settings and under Manage invite codes we select the Reset option.

Once the Reset option has been selected, wait for it to be reset.
Note that the old code no longer works and if you are still allowing students to join, you will need to send out the new Invitation Code and Invitation Link to them.
